Is Christmas really over?
Umm....yes. Christmas has come and gone in a flash! And just like everything else, it went by entirely too fast. We had a good Christmas...it would have been much more enjoyable if Ava and I weren't both sick! I took her to the doctor on Christmas Eve and we found out she had an ear infection...poor baby. I started feeling sick that evening, and by Christmas morning we were both sneezing, sniffling, snot monsters...nice, huh! I am definitely feeling better now, but my poor little cub is still sick. Its now moved down into her chest, so we will be going back to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully it will be nothing more than a chest cold. We've avoided RSV so far, so lets pray she doesn't have it now! I might just become crazy germ-freak mom again...and no one really wants that lady back. Anyway...back to Christmas...aside from the sickness, we really did have a nice day! Ava had fun opening her presents and definitely got some good loot. But I must say, Santa got me the BEST present ever!
Okay...so, remember how I'm up for that mom-of-the year award? Well, this should seal the deal....we're driving down to my parents house, and we're about three-fourths of the way there when I remember that I left the camera at home, on the desk! NO CAMERA?!?! My mom let me use her camera, so we do have lots of pictures of Ava's Christmas morning experience and our family Christmas that evening. However, my parents live in a place that is stuck in the dark ages where it isn't even possible to get high speed internet!! So that means I won't have the picture CD til next week when we go back down there. Until then, here are some pics from before Christmas and after Christmas....and my AWESOME present!!!
