Ugly Sweaters Galore

Saturday was the 5th Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater party, and this year it was held at Fox in the Hound. There was a good turn out...maybe not as many people as last year, but the sweaters were definitely just as UGLY! There were a few good home-made sweaters, but mostly the sweaters were something that "designers" actually created for people to buy and wear! And the crazy thing is, people actually do buy and wear these hideous things! I saw some at Steinmart that were amazingly ugly! If I wanted to spend $50, I would have bought one...but we had a bag full of left over sweaters from years past, so Aaron and I each went with one of the left overs. After looking back at the pics from last year, I discovered I wore the one Aaron wore last year! He, however, chose a classic button-up version with lovely shoulder pads...like my husband needs anything to make his shoulders look bigger....this did make him look even sillier, though! :) Something else I discovered is that I am officially old. The bar was way too smokey for me (my asthma and sinuses are still trying to recover), and even though we were home and in bed by 2, it was entirely too late for me and I was tired the whole next day! Regardless, we did have fun, and it was good to see everyone....in their most festive attire!

The sweater party benefits the charity Toys for Tots, and every year we collect more and more toys! Here is a pic of all of the toys collected this year!! Awesome, huh!!
