A Few Things

Okay...first of all, what is WRONG with the Mavs?!?!?!? I can't even watch anymore!

Second of all, I took Ava to the doctor today because she is sick...AGAIN! I'm so tired of it! The receptionist said, "Hi Mrs. Cardwell...weren't you guys just in here a couple of weeks ago?" I was like..."yes, 3 weeks ago to the day...and my poor kid is sick again!!" If there is a person with a cold that comes within a mile of my poor baby, she will catch it for sure! And every time she catches a cold, it goes straight to her ears. I'm really surprised that we don't have tubes already, but its not like she wasn't getting over the ear infections...its just that as soon as she gets sick, she gets another one. But if she's going to catch a cold at the drop of a hat, the dr and I would rather her not get an ear infection on top of that...soooo...we've been referred to an ENT. He's supposed to be really good... he better be! Dr. Nail says that he and his partners all take their kids to him, so I guess that's good enough for me. Anyway, the first appt we could get is on May 5th, so we'll know more then.

And on to some better news...we got a NEW SINK!! Okay, that may be boring to some, but I am SO excited about it! Our old sink was just disgusting!! BEYOND disgusting!! I probably bleached it twice a week, and still it was just gross...or as Korb says, "grody to the max!!" I won't even go into how nasty the garbage disposal was...but i will say that every time I turned it on it shook the entire house and could be heard three blocks away...it scared Ava every time! I don't have a before picture because...well...honestly because I'm embarrassed at how gross it was....but I do have a couple of after shots...


Thank you so much Aaron and Rob for installing this sink..its awesome and I love it!! Yes, folks they did it themselves! Rob generously offered his expertise and services and we are super appreciative!! Now if I only had new counter tops to go with my new sink.... ;)
