What time is it?

...Game Time!!

Tomorrow marks the first home game of the season for North Texas, and we're super excited! Ava's got her cheerleading uniform, and Aaron's got his tailgating setup and we're ready to go! Hopefully the Mean Green are ready too! {Not that we have high hopes...but who doesn't love college football!?!}

As an aside, we went up to Denton today to pick up our parking pass, and while we were there we stopped in Voertman's to get some Mean Green gear. Not sure if they'll ever let us back in that store. Ava threw the monster of all temper tantrums... complete with screaming, crying, flailing and throwing one's self on the floor. All I can say is "wow." I can't even begin to describe the embarrassment. I immediately took her out to the parking lot where I realized the keys were back in Voertman's with Aaron. We stood out there for what felt like forever, all the while Ava's screaming and crying... and of course passers-by are staring. These two guys walked by and looked at me like I was torturing the child. All I could do was smile and tell them what good birth control this should be. Aaron finally came out when he realized he had the keys, and I promptly put her in the back of the Tahoe where she could be free to "run" around while he went back in to pay. She, however, didn't care and continued her fit. And when it was time to leave, it took an act of God to get her into her car seat. Finally 15 minutes into our drive home she calmed down. Holy moly...I'm ready for this lovely stage to be over.
