My Punkin Pie at the Punkin Patch
Yesterday I met up with my friend {and favorite nurse ;)} Jen and her little girl, M.
Background story: Jen and I met when I was in the hospital on bedrest, and she was my nurse. We were both pregnant, and our girls were born just a few days apart. We've since kept in touch and have become friends. Altogether now..."awwww."
Anyway, Jen and I took our munchkins to the Arboretum yesterday so that they could play in the pumpkin patch and we could get some cute pictures. Wishful thinking on our part! The girls had fun at the little petting zoo, and picking out pumpkins...but really wanted nothing to do with smiling for the camera. So we did the best we could before going to eat lunch and then having to take the girls home for naps. We definitely had fun, though...and I can't wait to go back later this month for our photo shoot with Terry!! Yay!!
Ava said, "HIIIIEEE, baa baa!!"
This is the best "on the pumpkin picture" I got. At least she's smiling...even if she's not looking at me :)
"Ohh...I want this punkin!!"
"I can do it, Mom!! I swear!! I can pick up this big 'ol punkin all by myself!"
Sweet girls...again, this is the best pic I got of them together. Either, one of them was smiling and the other wasn't or one was looking and the other wasn't...oh well. That's a toddler for ya!
"Mom, seriously...this hay is scratchin my hiney."
Their favorite game ever...Ring Around the Rosie!
Eatin some lunch
I see two punkin pies who are definitely ready for a nap! Time to go home girls! :)
