Santa Claus is coming to town...

...or to the Kanuth's house anyway! Saturday afternoon we went over to Rob and Kate's house for some Holiday festive fun. Kate had baked tons of sugar cookies and they were just waiting for us to come and decorate them. There was icing and sprinkles and red hots and M&M's and more sprinkles, and we had so much fun decorating Christmas cookies! I know it was supposed to be an activity for the kiddos, but I think the adults had more fun than the kids. :)

there was red, green and blue icing...so unfortunately, Ava was not allowed to wear her shirt whilst partaking in the Christmas cookie decorating.

And right in the middle of our Martha Stewart-esque decorating, we had a VERY special visitor... SANTA! He came all the way from the north pole to visit our munchkins. The kids were super excited to see him, but they weren't quite sure if they really wanted to sit on his lap.

We finally got Ava to sit with Santa...but only if I sat on his lap... and she sat on mine... and Daddy sat next to us. We tried to get Daddy to sit on Santa's lap, but neither he nor Santa thought that was funny.
We had so much fun, Kanuths...thank you for having us over! AND, thank you SANTA for taking time out of your busy schedule to visit our kiddos...they loved it!
