Sean's Off to College

In a little more than a week, my baby brother is off to Lubbock to become an official Texas Tech Red Raider. I'm definitely excited for him, but so sad to see him go so far away!! He's decided to become a landscape architect...go brother! But, this means that he's going to be out there for 5 years...that's a crazy long time! Of course we had to have a little "going away" party for him, so my parents had everyone over for some yummy lasagna (a la, my mom) and delicious lemon cake (thanks to Granny Sue.) I forgot my camera, and I forgot to get the pics from my mom, but as soon as I do, I will post some pictures...we took some cute ones!

Okay, Sean Daniel...I know you've been in college for 2 years now, but you've not lived that far away...ever....so, here is some sisterly advice:

• don't schedule 8 am classes....you already know that, right?
• do GO to class....it really does help, I promise (I learned the hard way)!
• don't forget to call home
• do study, study...school's your buddy :)
• do have a blast....but not so much that you have to stay out there longer than 5 years!
• and finally, don't love Lubbock so much that you decide to stay out there forever...your niece will miss you dearly (as will the rest of us!!)

I love you, little brother, and I will miss you very much! You better come home for holidays (that includes my birthday!) and don't forget to write! (email, text, whatever!!)
