Whirlwind Weekend

It seems like weekends go by entirely too fast. Of course, maybe if we didn't fill them up to the brim, it might not seem that way. Although I have to say, we always have a good time hanging out with good friends and family!
Friday night we headed over to the Palmers, where we had our weekly dinner. Brian and Nikki joined us, which was so much fun! We all played poker, where I think we decided it's really not a good idea to play poker against your spouse. Anyhoo...
Saturday was the infamous fantasy football draft where all of our husbands desert us for most of the day....and night. So, the girls decided to have a party of our own...with babies of course. Kate and Elle, Nicole, Erin, Ava and I all gathered at the Palmers with Jammi, Kennedy and Korbin and had a great time at our slumber party!! We got to see a fashion show...Kenners, you are going to be so stylin this year!! We danced to High School Musical 2 and watched Grease and Grease 2...although not in that order! I think everyone was sick of me singing along to every song in Grease 2...sorry about that, girls! And of course we had our little baby play group! Elle and Korb are literally running all over the place...they are so cute, and I just can't believe how big our little babies are getting! We had an awesome time, and like all slumber parties...we stayed up entirely too late!!
Sunday we had a 1st birthday party for our nephew, Brock. Again...I can't believe how time flies. Aaron grilled burgers, and of course we had birthday cake...which I made!! Ava had a great time hanging out with her cousin Brock, as well as her Uncle Jacob, Aunt Rachel and Mimi!! (We did too, of course!!) And that concluded our whirlwind weekend!! I had my camera for our slumber party, but for some reason it didn't make it out of the diaper bag. So, the only pictures I have from this weekend are from Sunday...enjoy!
