Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving! There is so much to be thankful for, especially getting to spend the day with family! We started our day of eating in Leonard at Aaron's grandparents house. We had a yummy lunch, where we discovered Ava's love for green bean casserole! She also got to play with her cousin, Brock...who is about to become a big brother in a week or so. Ava's excited too...she's gonna have a girl to play with! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera. (I left it at my mom's house like 2 weeks ago...oops) But trust me, we had good food and good times!
In order to continue our day of eating...and football, we left Leonard and high-tailed it down to Red Oak in hopes that we would make it in time to catch the 1st half of the Cowboys game. We watched the 1st half of the game, then jumped in the car to go to my Aunt Sharon & Uncle Troy's house for our traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We watched the Cowboys win (woo hoo!!) and ate, and talked, and watched more football, and ate some more. And it was there that we discovered Ava's love for Aunt Sharon's sweet potato casserole. Now, let me just say....I love it too....and I'm not quite sure why some of that yummy casserole didn't make it home with us, but I am very sad because I can guarantee you that it would have most definitely been eaten...maybe even in the car on the way home! Anyway...maybe we can have some at Christmas??? I know it doesn't go with our traditional Mexican food Christmas, but Ava and I love some sweet potato casserole.... :)
I did get my camera from my mom's house, so here are some pics of our Thanksgiving evening:
