O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

It's finally up...I'm so glad to announce, that my tree is finally done! Now, it may not look done since there are no ornaments or ribbon on the very bottom, but that is because Benny seems to think that we have put this tree up especially for him! He not only chews on the branches any chance he gets, but he has, in the past (when I was silly enough to put stuff in his reach) taken the ribbon off and knocked some of my ornaments down...and of course they broke. So now I have learned to live with a "lopsided" tree...and I'm okay with it.


These are two of my favorite ornaments...and I think they're both from my mom. Thanks, momma! Now, if you notice there is a present under the tree. Santa has made an early delivery...and it's taking everything I have not let Ava rip into this present!! I'm still a big kid at heart...I could never wait until Christmas to open presents that arrived early. In fact, one year I lost all control and I very carefully opened ALL of my presents under the tree, then re-wrapped them so nobody would know!! Anyway, lets hope Ava gets Aaron's will power because if she doesn't, Aaron will have to keep BOTH of us out of the presents!!
