things I learned while decorating for Christmas

1. I LOVE Christmas, but I HATE putting up the tree....more specifically, I hate "fluffing" the tree.
2. You should wear gloves whilst "fluffing" the tree, or your hands will look like you got in a fight with a cat...and lost.
3. Glass ornaments will break if dropped.
4. The ornament you break will be the one you made for you daughter.
5. If it crunches, Benny will eat it....be it the tree, a strand of lights, the garland...the list goes on!
6. A week later, and my tree is still not completely decorated.
7. If I want lights on our house, I'll have to do it myself. (something about heights???)
8. When the tree actually is decorated, it will look completely lopsided because of the ornaments only being on the top half of the tree...Benny likes to "play" with them.
9. The only thing I'm putting off longer than finishing the tree is Christmas shopping.
10. I really do LOVE Christmas, and I cant wait for Ava to open her presents and love the wrapping more than the actual present!!
