Easter

Here are some pictures from our Easter weekend. On Saturday we took Cub down to Red Oak for some Easter fun. My parents church had an Easter egg hunt, pony rides, hay rides, and a petting zoo, so I thought that might be fun for her. For not having a clue about egg hunting, she did pretty good. They had the babies hunt on the playground, and Ava was WAY more interested in the rocks than any stinkin plastic eggs. I tried to get her excited about putting them in her basket, but she just looked at me like I was crazy. It was fun anyway! Oh, and just like Santa, she was NOT happy about sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap. In her defense, that Bunny's face was creepy...I would have been scared too.

On Sunday we went to church with my parents and then to my Aunt Sharon and Uncle Troy's house for Easter lunch. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of Ava in her Easter dress...it was so cute! I'm definitely going to have to re-create the scene and get a picture because that dress is too adorable!! Anyway, we had a delicious lunch and got to spend some quality time with the family. It was too chilly to have an Easter egg hunt outside, so we "hid" eggs in the house. More like we put them on the ground and in plain view hoping that Cub would get into it and put them in her basket...ya, not so much.
