Guess who my mom got to shake hands with today? If you guessed President Bush, you were right! How cool is that!?! Our former President and the lovely Mrs. Bush stopped by my mom's work place today to say hi to everyone...again, how cool is that! He went up to the cafe, where he received a standing ovation, and proceeded to say hi and shake hands with each and every person in there. What a down to earth, awesome dude! {Yes I did just call our former Commander In Chief a dude! :)} Anyway, my mom missed meeting him at lunch, but caught him in the lobby, on his way out. He shook her hand and my mom said, "Welcome Home!" He said, "Thanks, its good to be back in Texas!"

I bet it is, Mr. President, and we're glad to have you!

{Now, my mom being the modest person that she is would never brag by saying that this is her second meeting with President Bush...But since I'm not my mom, I'm totally gonna brag!! ;) She got to meet him once before and had her picture made with him. Fancy!}
